Privacy Policy — Earth Smasher

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains what information may be processed when you use Earth Smasher, and how that information is handled.

Sun Soft INC (“we”, “us”, or “the Company”) takes user privacy seriously. We explain (1) why information is processed, (2) how it is stored, and (3) how it is protected.

Notice: Earth Smasher is a local-only app. Your gameplay data is stored on your mobile device and is not uploaded to any external servers or databases operated by Sun Soft INC. We do not operate user accounts, cloud saves, or social features in this app.

By using Earth Smasher, you agree to this Policy. This Policy is effective as of January 1, 2025.

1. Information processed and how it is collected

(1) Information stored on your device

The following data may be saved and processed locally on your device:

Game progress: destroyed terrain, scorch marks, pierce holes, impact count, in-game population, simulation date/speed, science points, and related gameplay state
Camera state: orbit camera position and rotation (to restore your view)
App settings: music volume, sound effects volume, and graphics quality
Device information (limited): operating system version and device type, used only to optimize performance on your device
Earth Smasher does not require a nickname, email, phone number, contacts, photo library, camera, or location data to play.

(2) How information is collected

Automatically while you play (for example, when the game saves your world)
When you change in-app settings (volume, graphics quality, etc.)
When you use the app’s save/load features
We do not collect data through registration forms, identity-linked advertising IDs, or third-party analytics in the current version of Earth Smasher.

2. Use of processed information

We use locally stored information only to:

Provide core gameplay (destruction simulation, weapons, fleet attacks, save/load)
Remember your preferences (audio and graphics settings)
Maintain stability and performance on your device
Comply with applicable laws when legally required
We do not use your data for profiling, targeted advertising, or sale to data brokers.

3. Disclosure of information

Important: Your gameplay data stays on your device. Sun Soft INC does not receive or store it on company servers.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties except when:

You choose to share content using your device’s system share feature (outside our control), or
Disclosure is required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
Earth Smasher does not include chat, friend lists, or automatic sharing with other users. All content remains private on your device unless you explicitly share it through your operating system.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Earth Smasher is a native mobile game, not a website. It does not use browser cookies, web beacons, or third-party tracking that identifies you across apps or sites. We aim to provide a tracker-free experience.

5. Your rights and data retention

Because data is stored locally, you control it directly:

Access and correction: change settings in the app at any time
Deletion: delete saved game data in the app, or clear app data in device settings
Uninstall: removing the app deletes locally stored files and settings from your device (subject to your OS behavior)
Retention: We do not keep a copy of your data on our servers. Data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information on your device:

We rely on the encryption and security features of your mobile operating system (Android / iOS)
The app requests only permissions needed for gameplay; it does not access photos, contacts, or the microphone for core features
Save files are written to the app’s private storage area on your device
7. Children’s privacy

Earth Smasher is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all data stays on the device, parents or guardians can remove a child’s data by deleting save data or uninstalling the app.

8. Third-party services

The app may be distributed through platform stores (such as Google Play). Those platforms may process download or device information under their own privacy policies. That processing is governed by the platform operator, not Sun Soft INC, unless we explicitly add a third-party service in a future update. If we do, we will update this Policy.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted where this Policy is published and, where appropriate, noted in the app or store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
